Our work with COPINH, The Civic Council of Popular and Indigenous Organizations of Honduras, is our longest running project.

COPINH is an organization that has representation in 700 communities in the poorest region in Honduras. COPINH works for the recognition of political, social, cultural and economic rights of indigenous peoples and communities in Honduras, striving to improve their life conditions.

COPINH has placed major emphasis in the development of a communications and media strategy for their internal organization. COMPPA helped to design and install COPINH’s own community radio station: La Voz Lenca, serving the town of La Esperanza and surroundings.
