The Mesoamerican Network of Community, Indigenous, and Garífuna Radios

Social movements across Mesoamerica are finding common ground for organizing in the face of common threats to their land and communities. Among these struggles is the fight for the right to communicate as a fundamental tool for bridging the digital divide,(ANTEN~5 which threatens to silence and marginalize voices of those who believe another world is possible.

The Mesoamerican Network of Community, Indigenous, and Garífuna Radios has grown out of this political context as a network of strategic alliances that unite many community radios– radios that emerged to strengthen the struggles of social organizations and communities. The Network strengthens the communication strategies of its member organizations in order to build an active network that offers a space of mutual support and collective action.

COMPPA communication accompanies projects of organizations that make up the Mesoamerican Network , providing training spaces, multiplication and support in obtaining technical teams.
